Nelson Mural
Live Art Texta Explosion
Finally here's some photos of the live art texta explosion we made for Nelson and the Taboo Group in their offices in Melbourne last year. Tha challege was to create a mural and paint it onto a wall of 100 beer cases, while peoples watched. The hard thing was to make an image that wold work as a mural viewed from a distance, but every beercase had to have its own self-contained image on it so that when the guests at the launch left they could leave with their own drawing on the box. This was very hard! It was a puzzle we had fun trying to solve. Also we had to work pretty fast as various trials of building the wall and making sure it was safe and would stay up meant the shape and arrangement of the boxes changed a few times. In the end we got it all done - in a mere 9 hours, and only about 13 Montana markers and Krink pens. Pictured below betwixt our exhausted mugs is Reece - the Art Director. He is awesome, so are all the Taboos.
