Happy Birthday Ivy League

A couple of Fridays ago we got to go see the Ivy League 10th birthday celebration night at The Metro. It was insanely great. The Mess Hall, Youth Group and The Vines all blew our socks off. The Vines left us feeling like giddy teenagers all full of excitmenet - they were that good. We also attached some screen-prints we've done in the past for Youth Group to the wall out in the bar for a mini-exhibition. There were some beautiful works by James Hancock there too. Thanks Ivy League - congratulations.

Tragedies Go Bye Bye
Thanks youse.

What better way to procrastinate when you've got about 7 jobs to do than update your website!

But we wanted to say thanks to everybody who came along to our exhibition at Pigeon Ground way back when. We were shocked by how many people turned up for the opening and amazed at how good hotdogs can be (thanks Andrew!) Thanks Owen Straight Arrows for coming and playing some tunes for us too. Anyways, the exhibition's over now but thanks to everyone who bought stuff and Andrew + Bri Secret Squirrel for hooking it all up. We've updated our Illustration/Exhibition/Misc section with some of the work we made for it. (Plus some if the stuff for the In The Company Of The Dead show which was at China Heights a month earlier.)

Kids Get Sociable
Exhibition at The Social W1

Just when Sonny thought he could never look at a screen-printing carousel again, we've started making some new images and prints. This is for The Social in London, who are letting us have an exhibition in there real soon. We are making a whole lot of pictures of Gilgamesh, but "reimagined" (as they say) as a murderous 19th century London dandy. And some are going out on The Social's flyers over the next few months. Unfortunatley we're on the wrong side of the world to get in there ourselves but in our minds we're already there, happily propped up in a corner with a pint of San Miguel and chomping down on a hot toasted sketti-sandwich. Like this.

REPRASENT
The Jacky Winter Group

Biddy is oustandingly stoked to now be represented by the brand-new Jacky Winter Group. This is an agency representing 12 Australian illustrators and the other 11 people on the books are all amazing. The whole thing is masterminded by Jeremy Wortsman and you should have a look at the site and the work of all the artists cos there are some beauties up there.

Tragedies
Pigeon Ground / 14 Sept

Be warned & stay away from Pigeon Ground when we open our exhibition "Tragedies". Don't be tempted by the fact we're having an opening of new works and prints in this awesome shop. Try and fight the understandable desire to join us and drink beer as any number of awful things could go wrong. But if you do head down there on the night you will find us, clinging to each other in the corner... waiting. Plus prints involving all manner of terrible things. Avoid this flyer.

Company Of The Dead
China Heights / 24 Aug

This is a group show we're lucky enough to be in, sequel to the "Company Of Owls" show a few months ago. Opening Fri. 24th. There are a bunch of great artists in this including Joseph Allen, who worked with us on our poster for the Clientele (he did the great ink drawings of the guys going down the stairs). We will have a screen-print and some digital prints in this. It may involve Ewoks. Here's the flyer.

Belles Will Ring
Coldest Heart Clip

Animated clip for Belles Will Ring’s awesome song “The Coldest Heart”. Buy their record and go to their shows. We did this with our good friends at Forays For You who took care of all the animation and worked with us to script and direct it.
